Equipment

  • 1 large baking pan
  • 1 large heavy bottom pot

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of drained tuna fish
  • 2 jars of chopped artichokes, drained
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups cheddar jack cheese
  • 2 cups Cabot Vermont sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp blackened seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Badia Complete seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

Instructions

  • In a large heavy-bottom cast iron pan, combine all the ingredients: tuna, artichokes, heavy cream, cheddar jack cheese, Cabot sharp cheddar cheese, blackened seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, Badia Complete seasoning, cayenne pepper, onion powder, minced garlic, and dried parsley.
  • Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Place the pan on medium-low heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the dip is heated through and the cheeses have fully melted.
  • If you prefer a golden, crispy top, transfer the dip into a medium-sized baking pan. Place it in the oven at 450°F for 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crusted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with your favorite tortilla chips, buttery crackers, or pita bread for dipping.
