  • 4 (15 oz cans) of plums, chopped (juice included)
  • 1 box of lemon cake mix
  • 1 ½ sticks of butter, sliced
  • 1 cup of brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large baking pan, pour the chopped plums along with their juice, evenly spreading them across the bottom.
  • Sprinkle the lemon cake mix over the plums, ensuring it covers the fruit and juice evenly.
  • Layer the butter slices all over the top of the cake mix, making sure they are distributed evenly.
  • Spread the brown sugar over the butter and cake mix, ensuring the entire surface is coated for that delicious crispy crust.
  • Place the cake in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the brown sugar forms a golden, crispy crust on top.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving.
