Equipment

  • 1 slow cooker or crockpot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds of dry chickpeas
  • 12 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 diced bell pepper
  • 3 pepperoncini peppers chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon Badia Complete seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Rinse your chickpeas and you can let them soak in a bowl of water while you chop the veggies.
  • First chop all of your veggies and get them ready.
  • I use my trusty slow cooker, which not only brings out the depth of flavors but also makes it incredibly easy.
  • Simply toss all the ingredients into the slow cooker, set it on low, and let it cook for 12 hours.
  • Once done, turn them to the warm setting and serve with your favorite breads, greens, or a salad.
