  • 8 boneless pork chops
  • Juice from 2 fresh lemons
  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil of choice (for searing)

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Seasoning: In a small mixing bowl, combine the black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and dried parsley flakes.
  • Season the Pork Chops: Coat each pork chop generously with the dry spice mix.
  • Heat the Skillet: Add 3 tbsp of vegetable oil to a large frying pan and heat over medium-low heat.
  • Cook the Pork Chops: Place the seasoned pork chops into the hot skillet. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice all over the pork chops while they’re cooking.
  • Cover and Cook: Cover the skillet with a lid and cook the pork chops for 20-30 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking. They should be golden brown on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Serve: Once the pork chops are fully cooked and tender, remove from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
