2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp lemongrass powder
1 tbsp onion powder

2 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp salt

Rinse the Rice: Begin by rinsing the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This step removes excess starch and helps keep the rice fluffy.
Add the Aromatics: Add the coconut oil, butter, lemongrass powder, onion powder, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and dried parsley to the pot.
Cook the Rice: In a medium-sized pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
Let it Rest: Once the rice is done cooking, remove it from heat and place a clean towel under the lid to remove excess moisture. Now you must let it rest for 15 minutes.
Fluff and Serve: Remove the towel and fluff with a fork. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm as a side dish with your favorite Southern meals or as a base for a delicious stir-fry.
