The Haunted House at 901 Sandy Shore Dr., Bryan, Texas: My Escape from the Paranormal

In this photo, you can see the actual house that haunted me for years, located at 901 Sandy Shore Dr., Bryan, Texas. We lived there for what felt like a lifetime, enduring relentless paranormal activity that still chills me to this day. I stayed in that house until I was 17, but after years of unexplainable and terrifying experiences, I couldn’t take it anymore. I finally left because I knew that if I stayed even one more night, I might not make it out mentally or emotionally intact.

Growing Up in a Haunted House

This house was more than just a building—it was the source of years of fear and anxiety for me and my siblings. The paranormal activity started shortly after my family moved in, and it only got worse over time. Strange noises, cold spots, and eerie voices filled our lives, with the entity seeming to target my little brother, D.J., and me more than anyone else. From knocks on the back door to creepy voices calling out our names, the experiences were constant reminders that we were not alone in that house.

Our stepdad, David, always dismissed our fears, telling us that ghosts weren’t real. But my brother and I knew better. We felt the presence, we heard the voices, and we lived in fear day after day.

The Final Straw: Leaving 901 Sandy Shore Dr.

By the time I was 17, the haunting had grown too intense. No amount of reasoning or ignoring it could keep me there any longer. Every night brought new horrors, and the air in the house felt thick with something sinister. I tried my best to make it work, to live as normally as possible, but after years of eerie voices, footsteps in the halls, and objects moving on their own, I couldn’t stay.

The thought of spending one more minute in that house made my skin crawl. So, I packed my bags and left, leaving behind the haunted memories of 901 Sandy Shore Dr. for good. To this day, I wonder if anyone else who has lived there has experienced what we did.

A Haunted Legacy

There was something about that house that felt off from the very beginning, as though the land itself held dark energy. It’s hard to explain to people who haven’t lived through something like this, but I know I’m not the only one who has been haunted by this house. I’ll never forget the eerie feeling of being watched, or the way the house seemed to breathe with its own malevolent life.

Every time I look at that photo of 901 Sandy Shore Dr., I get a shiver down my spine. It’s a constant reminder of the years I spent in fear, and how finally leaving was the only way to free myself from the haunting that had consumed my childhood and teenage years.
