Sweet & Spicy Glazed Shrimp Recipe
Equipment
- 1 medium fryer or frying pan
- 1 Large Mixing Bowl
- 1 paper towel lined plate for draining
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs large raw gulf shrimp
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp milk
Instructions
- First peel and deveined your raw gulf shrimp and give them a good rinse.
- Next in a large mixing bowl or ziploc bag, mix your flour and seasonings together good.
- Now add 2 eggs and a little milk to a small bowl and give it a good few whisks.
- Dip each shrimp into the egg wash and then coat with the flour blend.
- Drop each battered shrimp into the hot grease and fry until golden brown.
- Once done frying all of the shrimp, drain good on a paper towel lined bowl or plate.
