Disappointing Review of Dirty Dick’s Crab House Restaurant in Panama City Beach
During our July 2023 vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida, my daughter and I decided to try Dirty Dick’s Crab House Restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations, and I left feeling quite disappointed.
High Prices, Low Quality
First off, let’s talk about the prices. We were expecting a great meal, but the prices were sky-high for what was offered.
I ordered the Gator Tail and Soft Shell Crab Dinner, thinking it’d be a unique treat. Sadly, both dishes were tough and rubbery, making them difficult to enjoy. In search of something better, I asked the waiter to replace my meal with fried fish. The fish was an improvement, but still not worth the hefty price tag.
The Green Apple Margarita Was the Highlight
There was, however, one redeeming factor—the Green Apple margarita. It was refreshing and tasty, offering a bit of relief in an otherwise lackluster experience. Unfortunately, the drink didn’t pack much of a punch alcohol-wise, so I’d skip the margaritas at $10 a pop if you’re looking for a stronger cocktail.
Dirty Dick’s Crab House: A Pricey Letdown in Panama City Beach
In the end, Dirty Dick’s Crab House Restaurant didn’t provide the value we were hoping for. The food was overpriced and underwhelming, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. While the margarita was a nice touch, the overall dining experience just didn’t meet our expectations.
