Ingredients:

  • 1 can of fried apples
  • 1 cup fresh red raspberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk, until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the fried apples, raspberries, and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve & Enjoy: Once cooled, slice your Apple Raspberry Walnut Bread into thick, hearty slices and savor the harmonious blend of flavors with every bite. This bread pairs beautifully with a variety of accompaniments, including:
