Haunted by an Evil Entity: When the Blessing Backfired

As the years went by, the strange and terrifying occurrences in our home in Bryan, Texas, only got stronger and more intense. What started as random noises and eerie phone calls escalated into something much more sinister. The most unsettling part? Whatever haunted us seemed to target only me and my little brother, D.J. No one else in the house seemed affected by this dark, creepy presence.

The Sinister Voice Returns

We couldn’t escape it. Whether we were sitting around watching TV or hanging out in our rooms, that same unsettling voice I had heard about during the phone call with my friend Beth would start calling out our names. It wasn’t loud or aggressive, but it was chilling—low, raspy, and terrifying. It would call my name, “Stacy,” and then moments later, it would call out for D.J., my little brother.

He was just a little boy, maybe 6 or 7 at the time, and each time he heard it, he would break down in tears, running to me for comfort. It was heartbreaking to see him so terrified. Every night, as we tried to sleep, he’d cry in his bed, clinging to me and begging for it to stop. I felt so helpless. And every time we told David about it, he would brush us off, claiming we were just letting our imaginations run wild. He still refused to believe in ghosts or spirits, despite everything we were going through.

A Desperate Call for Help

Eventually, D.J. and I couldn’t take it anymore. We were scared to stay in the house, especially after dark. The entity seemed to grow stronger with each passing day, and we feared what it might do next. Out of desperation, we begged our mom to call someone for help—a preacher, a pastor, anyone who might be able to rid the house of whatever was haunting us.

My mom finally agreed. She reached out to a local pastor, explaining our situation in the hopes that he could offer some kind of relief. Within days, the pastor came to our home and performed a cleansing or blessing on the house. He prayed in every room, asking for the entity to leave and for peace to be restored. For the first time in a long time, we felt a little hopeful. Maybe this would finally end the haunting.

The Calm Before the Storm

For the first few days after the blessing, everything seemed fine. The house felt lighter, the oppressive feeling that had hung over us for so long seemed to lift, and there were no voices or strange occurrences. D.J. and I started to feel like maybe, just maybe, we could get our lives back to normal.

But then, just as the sun would begin to set, the air in the house would shift. It was subtle at first, a growing sense of unease, but before long, things started getting worse. The entity wasn’t just back—it was angrier than ever. We had hoped the blessing would help, but instead, it seemed to have made whatever haunted us even more furious. And now, it felt personal.

Stay tuned for more chilling details in my next post on Sincere Scribbles, as I share how our haunting reached new, terrifying heights.
